qTranslate X <= 3.4.6.8 - Authenticated (Admin+) Stored Cross-Site Scripting

qTranslate X: Currently marked unpatched

Affected versions: *-3.4.6.8

Vulnerability type: CWE-79 Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting')

Affected software, patched versions and attribution

The qTranslate X plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting in versions up to, and including, 3.4.6.8 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with administrative capabilities, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This only affects multi-site installations and installations where unfiltered_html has been disabled.
