Web3 <= 2.8.0 - Authentication Bypass

Affected versions: *-2.8.0

Vulnerability type: CWE-288 Authentication Bypass Using an Alternate Path or Channel

Affected software, patched versions and attribution

The Web3 – Crypto wallet Login & NFT token gating plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authenticated bypass in all versions up to, and including, 2.8.0. This is due to insufficient verification on the 'handle_auth_request' and 'hadle_login_request' functions.
